We have developed a web-based system that takes a photo either from a web-camera or from some other source (like a mobile phone for example) and after uploading it on the server, the server returns the result within 3-5 seconds, where all the skin defects are marked with white spots (including post-inflammatory scars) and especially acnes are marked with red color.

We have developed a novel algorithm that transforms the colors of the face so that the face defects are easier to be detected and classified. After that the software detects and classifies the skin defects and shows the result directly on the input image. The algorithm is tuned to give only the largest visible defects on the skin.
